Lauren Heuser writes a weekly column on law and policy for the National Post. She recently completed a Fellowship in Journalism at the University of Toronto, Munk School of Global Affairs, and holds a J.D. from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law, and a B.A. (Hons.) in Literature and Political Science from the University of Manitoba. Lauren previously worked as an associate in the business law group of an international law firm, where she practiced primarily in the areas of energy and environmental law, regulatory law, and project finance.
